Description

An unforgettable experience combining the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa with the colourful villages of the Cinque Terre: one day, two different worlds.

From Carrara, framed by the Apuane Alps and its famous marble quarries, you reach Pisa to visit Piazza dei Miracoli and admire the Leaning Tower. You then continue to the Cinque Terre National Park: your driver takes you to Riomaggiore, from where you can explore the villages by local train — Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, Monterosso — with their colourful houses perched over the sea.

Between villages, time for a plate of trofie al pesto, Ligurian focaccia and a glass of Cinque Terre wine. At Monterosso your driver waits for the return to the port.

Practical notes

The Cinque Terre villages are connected by train (5 minutes between each stop). Comfortable shoes recommended — there are stairs and hills. Trains can be crowded during high season.
