Terms and conditions

1. Definitions

“Share Shore Excursions” means the website and the company Share Shore Excursions. “User” means anyone who uses the site to book a tour. “Tour” means the shore excursion booked through the platform.

2. The service

Share Shore Excursions is an intermediation platform that connects cruise passengers with licensed private drivers (NCC, Noleggio Con Conducente) and certified tour guides for private shore excursions during port calls in Italy.

3. Booking and confirmation

  • A booking is confirmed only once you receive the confirmation email
  • Minimum 2 passengers per tour
  • Maximum 8 passengers per vehicle (Mercedes Vito)
  • The tour price is fixed regardless of the number of passengers

4. Cancellation policy

  • Up to 48 hours before: free cancellation
  • From 48 to 24 hours before: a fee of 50% of the tour price
  • Less than 24 hours before, or no-show: 100% of the tour price is charged, except in cases of force majeure
  • The ship skips the port: nothing is charged

Fees and charges are applied to the card left as a guarantee. Changes (date, time or number of passengers) are free up to 24 hours before the tour, subject to availability.

5. Back-to-ship guarantee

Share Shore Excursions guarantees your return to the port in time to re-board the cruise ship. If a delay caused by us makes you miss the ship, we will cover the cost of reaching the next port of call.

6. Payment

Nothing is charged at booking: the credit or debit card is stored only as a guarantee. The tour is paid in cash, in euros, to the driver at the end of the excursion. The card can be charged only for a no-show or a cancellation fee, as set out in section 4.

7. Liability

Share Shore Excursions acts as an intermediary. Responsibility for carrying out the tour lies with the licensed driver and the tour guide. All vehicles carry third-party liability insurance with cover in line with the law in force.

8. Tour guides

All guides working through Share Shore Excursions are listed in the Italian National Register of Tour Guides (Law 190/2023, Ministerial Decree 88/2024) and carry a verifiable QR code.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. The Court of Livorno has jurisdiction over any dispute.
